A true COVID romance, Mary and Alex went on their first date during quarantine.

It was a hometown love story - back in high school, Alex and Mary shared just one interaction: Alex went to a private high school but did theatre at Andover High. One fateful day, Mary saw Alex in a play at AHS, took a selfie with him, and history was made, although neither of them knew it.

Over five years later, COVID hit and Alex logged into an old Instagram account, only to see Mary pop up on his feed. He took the plunge and messaged her about a song she had posted on her story. The rest is, truly, history. One month later, they went on their first date. Eight months later, they moved in together. Four months later, they got their dog, Teddy.

After proposing to Mary in Disney World, they decided to celebrate on Space Mountain -- all while Alex screamed "I did it!" at the top of his lungs.
